Hello and thanks for stopping by!

My name is Lisa Flower Shin and I shoot still and moving imagery. Born in Harrisburg, PA, I’ve spent most of my life between Manhattan and Northern NJ. I would say I am split right down the middle, half city - half jerzey. My father and mother were formerly an architect and opera singer respectively in Korea. Their immigrant work ethic and creative philosophies continue to inspire and encourage me today.

A former student of the School of Visual Arts, I assisted prominent still life and food photographers for a few years and quickly went on to a career of my own. I have always loved cameras since childhood, pressing the buttons, hearing the shutter. Photography has always been a loving process for me to work out technicalities and marrying them to the creative. From extra sharp details to a loose storytelling collage, I love seeing a project come to fruition.

If you have a vision to share, please let me in on it. I would love to help you make it come true.
